We first met Ghost at the age of 3 months, when he came off the back of a ute while travelling. He damaged his radial nerve in his front leg and as a result he was unable to use his leg properly and it required amputation.
Ghost's owners came to the conclusion that due to some hardship they were unable to afford his surgery. They reluctantly decided to euthanise Ghost. We all fell in love with the wee boy and decided (with his owner's permission) to see if we could find Ghost a new home. His owners signed him over to us.
Kirsten performed the operation and since then he has been fostered by one of our nurses. We have found him to be great with other dogs, kids, even George (our clinic cat) and his love for people is obvious. He has won the hearts of all of us here at Total with his outgoing spirit and love for company.
Ghost has a special spot with all of us here and it has become our mission to find him a new 'Forever Home'.
If you have room in your family for this amazing boy, please contact us at the clinic on 03 3894564 to set up a visit.
He is now neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped, all we ask is that you love him as much as we do.
Any contributions to help cover Ghost's vet costs so far, would be appreciated and can be made via contacting us at the clinic by phone. Payments can be made by phone or online banking.
